Yes, I know I haven't posted in awhile, I haven't mentioned Fashion Week, like I care. I've beenn busy.
BUT TODAY IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DAY.
Today is Tuesday, September 29th. DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TODAY?
Yes, that's right.
PARAMORE'S THIRD ALBUM CAME OUT, BRAND NEW EYES.
OMG. I AM BEYOND EXCITED!
I'm trying to pace myself, so I only bought one song today, "Playing God". It's beyond awesome. I've played it so much already.
Whatever. I gotta go watch Grey's Anatomy on my TiVo. It's the season premiere!

It's Almost Here!
Yup, that's right. It's that time of year again: Fall Fashion Week. Is it fall? I can never be sure, because they show the spring fashions in fall and the fall fashions in spring. But Fashion Week means a lot of things. Summer laziness is over and it's time to get back to work and school, and it's time to get back to looking CHIC.
Last week on Project Runway they did surfwear, which I am hoping was just a tribute to the end of summer. But a lot of the design teams (Teams! Can you believe it?) did a Tim Gunn: they made it work! But I am with Heidi and I was shocked to find out what happened with Mitchell and Ra'mon. One team member being the winner and the other getting kicked off? Wtf?
But back to Fashion Week. It also means that all the fall styles you salivated over in February when they were on the runway are now available in stores!
So I'm going to include a schedule for New York Fashion Week (Sept. 10-17) with all the notable designers:
Thursday, September 10th
10am: BCBGMAXAZRIA in the Tent
2pm: Mara Hoffman on the Promenade
Friday, September 11th (also the anniversary of 9/11. But I will feature a memorial post on the day of).
6pm: Nicole Miller
Saturday, September 12th
10am: Lacoste in the Tent
4pm: Christian Siriano (Project Runway alum!) on the Promenade
Sunday, September 13th
10am: Lela Rose in the Salon
1pm: DKNY at 711 Greenwich Street
3pm: Herve Leger by Max Azxria on the Promenade
4pm: Diane von Furstenburg in the Tent
Monday, September 14th
10am: Carolina Herrera in the Tent
12pm: Jill Stuart at the New York Public Library
1pm: Tracy Reese in the Salon
Tuesday, September 15th
10am: Badgley Mischka in the Tent
2pm: Max Azria in the Tent
7pm: Tibi on the Promenade
Wednesday, September 16th
9am: Tory Burch in the Salon
10am: Michael Kors in the Tent
11am: Nanette Lepore on the Promenade
2pm: 3.1 Phillip Lim in the Tent
6pm: Anna Sui in the Tent
Thursday, September 17th
9-11am: Ralph Lauren in the Skylight Studio, 275 Hudson Street
Okay, that's it. Of course there are more designers showing that that, but I included the ones that are, in my opinion, of note.
So if you can get to New York City AND you've got enough major clout to have scored an invitation to any of the above shows, go and tell me all about them! (in comments, s'il vous plait.) Everything's in Bryant Park, of course.
